Authorized Path Forward delivers one-time sign-in codes by email. This page says what we process to do that, what our delivery provider does with a message, what we keep, and how to reach us.

Who we are

Authorized Path Forward is operated by Marisol Email Systems, Co., 1280 102nd Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33716, United States. “We” on this page means Marisol Email Systems, Co. Our privacy contact is Peter Gensing.

What we process

The address a code goes to

When a sign-in code is requested on a member site, its sign-in screen passes the email address that was entered to us, and we send one email to it. We use the address to deliver that email, and for the unsubscribe record described below if you ask us to stop. We use it for nothing else, and we don’t sell it, rent it, or share it beyond the delivery described here.

Delivery

Our emails are sent through an email delivery provider. To deliver a message it receives the address and the message, and it keeps delivery records, such as whether a message was accepted or bounced, under its own privacy policy.

Tracking

Our delivery provider may add an open-tracking pixel to the message under its own default settings: a tiny image which, if your mail program loads images, tells the provider that the message was opened. We don’t use that signal to make decisions about you. The message carries no tracked links. Its one link is the plain address hello@authorize-path.com, which tracking doesn’t touch.

Unsubscribe records

When you ask us to stop, we record the email address, in plain form, with the dates of the request and of any later change, which of our sending identities the request came from, and a short internal tag for the sign-in screen it came from, which names no site. The record is kept in plain form so that every system that sends for us can match the address and honor it. If a mail provider tells us that an address reported our email as spam, we record that as well, and that record is never undone. We never delete these records: deleting one would let the emails start again, and the record exists so that they don’t. If you later ask for sign-in codes back, the record is updated to allow them; it stays in place, and it never opts you into anything else.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. It loads nothing from anywhere but authorize-path.com. Its pages are served through Cloudflare, which shields the site from attack and keeps its own connection records under its own privacy policy. Our own server keeps brief technical logs so that we can keep the site running and notice abuse.

What we don’t do

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about your email address, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop emailing it. Write to privacy@authorize-path.com from the address in question, so that we know the request comes from its owner. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights, and we will honor them.

One limit, explained above: an unsubscribe record exists to keep an address from being emailed, so if you ask us to erase everything about an address, we will tell you what stays and why.

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
